I've worked on it on and off. I've got a decent screen-cap, but turning that into something hi-rez has been challenging. Did some tracing in Illustrator but only got about half-way through.

don't think it would be too hard if you had a good cap of it..

The problem is that there are no really good scenes where the sign is seen straight on. It's always at a weird angle, so to recreate it you have to do everything freehand if you are going to recreate it with vectors.

Here's where I'm at. I'm guessing this is about 80%. Color needs tweeked and a lot of the shapes need refining.

If you ever mass produce this and want to sell them, I know I would be interesrted in purchasing one.
Question: Would this be the same size as the origional one? :confused :confused :confused :confused :confused

The size of it alone would be a huge expense. it almost looks better painted on canvas and reproduced really. I think Darth Saber should take a crack at it. lol

Yeah, that big wouldn't likely be feasible financially.

The original was clearly hand painted as well. My goal was to put together something that was fairly accurate, but reproducible as a hi-rez vector graphic. Maybe for a t-shirt of something.

Here it is at about 90%

I guess you could make a poster with it, but if you want it in movie scale painting it yourself is the only way to go, unless you want to spend a lot money that is
