Hey guys, so I've recently picked up a BASEketball uniform from Hollywood Movie Jerseys and figured I need to have some BASEketballs to go with it!
I was fortunate enough to find some close up photos of screen used balls.

Further research one that the stitches were simply pieces of red electrical tape and not made into the ball - in fact while watching the movies you'll notice a lot of the balls are missing stitches.
First thing was finding a basketball with didn't have any indent or marking I could paint flat.

And doing about 5 coats of white Plasti-Dip, about a can per ball. Can use spray paint otherwise the paint would crack and flake off.

While waiting for them to dry I back back and redrew the NBL logo on the ball so I could get new decals made. I was surprised to realize no one has done it yet before.

After I was done figuring out the scaling I had the logo printed on air release vinyl as well as cut the stripes and "Spalding" logo

Sadly I feel my scaling on the "Spalding" logo is about 1.5" too wide so I left it off the second ball until I get new ones made.

Really happy with the scaling on the NBL logo

The stitches may be about 0.625" too long but I'm okay with them - each ball is roughly 300 stitches.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the outcome, I'll be happier once I redo the "Spalding" logos

Up next is to attempt to make LA-Z-Boy!
