Bandai release schedule

Close but no cigar:

Interresting... how many logos are there so far ? Thinking of spicing up my figure displays, when they come up with one for each movie/series ( Ep.I - IX, Solo, R1, CW, Rebels and Mando ) Are these finished stands, or kind of easy-kits ?

Also curious, I take it Bandai still has the license, SW in general and Mando, any info for a Razor Crest kit yet ?

No announcement as of yet for Razor Crest

If they do one, considering it's size, I would expect 1/144 is the largest we would see, but a 1/350 vehicle collection one is probably a safer bet

Nothing new. They did re-print a bunch of their kits this month.

How about now ? Post episode 6 ?

Makes no difference to me. As Vader once said, “I want that ship!”

Funny side story #1: When Solo and the Falcon made their escape on Hoth right in front of Vader and Vader says that; I thought as a 7 year old kid Vader actually wanted the Millennium Falcon because it was a bad-assed FAST ship. Not because of who was inside of it!

Funny side story #2: depending on who you ask and what source, Vader NEVER says that there in the original theatrical release. I’d swear he did but the debate continues and falls into the Mandela Affect stuff of legends. Another argument is you do hear it on the ESB storybook record, which lots of kids like me listened to back in the day. I still have this record but no record player...

Are you talking about Vader in the ice hanger watching the Falcon disappear out the hanger door? If that's the case, he never had dialogue at that moment. I was there opening day May 27th, 1980. Saw it twice in a row. Saw it at least six times in the following week at different theaters. Never any dialogue there. I've had those moments too where I remember something a certain way and even when presented with rock solid evidence that it never happened my brain still wants to insist that it did. Unfortunately, I think there is too much of that happening in different areas of our lives right now. And thanks to the Internet, we can easily find that person or group of people who think like us and validate our mistakes and suddenly there is a "debate" where there really shouldn't be one. We are silly animals.

Anyway, I suspect the rapid unplanned disassembly from episode 6 will be rectified with a new but identical version soon. The RC is now a character and Disney is first and foremost about marketing. From a story perspective, I hope Mando gets a new and different ride (new ships to drool over is good, right?) because personally I hate it when shows and movies destroy iconic vehicles just to replace them with a relatively identical version (I'm looking at you, Star Trek).

Yeah, that's the scene. My mind (and others) plays tricks on us.

I also have memories of the Biggs scene on Tatooine in the theaters in 77! I know that memory is false. Crazy stuff.

For me it was the Jawa droid sale. I swear I remember seeing R2 sabotage R5 with one of his various gadgets before he rolled out and popped a gasket or whatever

Ha. I still think he has a soft spot for the Falcon myself.

But as far as the newer happening. That's got to be considered a bit of a low blow.

Wonder what the longer term situation will be ?

I remember one nerd fight I had with a guy in high school who insisted that in ANH when Han is shooting it out with the troopers in the Mos Eisley docking bay that Chewie triggers one of the quad cannons to fire because there is a quick cut to Chewie in the cockpit right before we see two laser blasts hit the docking bay wall. And I was like, "Han is literally shooting his gun in the shot before it from where the laser bolts are coming from and we don't see the quad cannon at all." But he stopped being my friend because I wouldn't agree that something that we don't see happen actually happened. Star Wars fans need therapy. And, yes, I mean me too. :p

The Record is on Youtube & so is the Radio Drama,...no dialogue from Vader at the scene....but....Marvel Comics perhaps?

Vader says, "I want that ship, not excuses," at some point...

He says that to Piett on board the Executor during the scene when we see Vader's scarred head as his helmet is being lowered. Piett comes to report that the Falcon has entered an asteroid field and that they cannot risk... upon which Vader bellows the quote.

It is easy when one first sees a film to get the order of statements and events mixed up, combined or confused with other scenes in reference to those who thought Vader had lines while storming the corridors of Echo Base on Hoth.

As to the 'sudden disassembly' of a ship many of us would like a Bandai kit of - I am always excited to see what new and jaw-dropping vehicles we might see our heroes take off in. Remember the Outrider? How about those Delta ships the Mandalorians used in the CW series? Hopefully we will get something totally different that becomes yet another iconic ship we can hope beyond hope that Bandai and other modeling companies make for us to spend our dollars on.

Toadmeister, love your avatar, I do a bit of research myself, Pics that will make you scratch your head and so sorry about stepping on anyone on this thread just nice to see a fellow researcher and I have that same comic, I want that ship. I use to have that record. love all and anything Star Wars.

Also I love all the Bandai kits have built about everyone of them, I love how they go together decals are nice as well. I do hope they make the Razor Crest I did the Has Lab order as well. Analyzer made a nice razor crest on his printer cool
