Actually I'm not even sure if it was ever referred to that way in the movies, or if that just a name that came later (kind of like the Blockade Runner)

Thanks! I like the look of having the landing gear down... and the canopies open. I'm going to be working on a base for the bwing next.
 
I think this project turned out extremely well- things like this make the B-Wing fit in better within the Star Wars universe instead of just seeing it fly around IMO.
 
Thanks, man! I still have quite a bit of work to do on the base, but it's been a fun project so far... I would like to do a Home One scene one day, but the Falcon I have is allocated to my Bespin diorama. I might do another display for the Y-wing and A-wing, though. I have a few X-wings and another Y-wing to repaint. Then basically everything in 1/144th scale...lol... I may have to start selling some stuff to make room in my apartment.
