Bad- azz BSG blackbird model build

I just got my 1/48 scale blackbird today from bad- azz models and will be doing a build here for it ,here's a picture of what it comes with and a close up of the parts. it now soaking until tomorrow to clean it up good to start the assembly.

I started it this morning and like most of bad azz models it builds it self not a lot to put together but still a nice kit. I'm doing a couple of mods myself by adding a piece on both engines pod in the void and later the two metal hoses that go in the same area on each side here's what i done so far.

For ha-ha i pined the engines and this also shows the added pieces in the voids

It's looking really nice! Are you using Satin paint or Matte?

Its a satin paint i thought about flat but went satin. by the way the cockpit is done and paint,decals tomorrow

The paint and decals are done ,now I'm going to let it dry out for a day than spray a dull clear over the hole thing.
