Back to the Future

Thanks to Rolands uploaded files I was able to create my very first sports almanac. For the pages I used 90 g paper and for the cover 200 g shiny photo paper.

For the glueing of the spine I used wood glue "Ponal" from Henkel.

@Roland: You can see the finished almanac in my prop exhibition in the artshow of the Maritim Hotel in Duesseldorf in about 2 weeks.

Thanks again.

Dietrich

Nice to see a finished Almanac based on Roland great files! Both of you did a great job I think.

Wow, looks better than expected. Now it just needs the silver reflective background. Can't wait to see your book at the FedCon.

A small hint: You should burn the files on a few CD's and take them to the FedCon. I'm sure, a lot of people will ask for it after seeing the printed book. ;)

Thanks Roland,

actually I am selling a CD with all my paper props I created over the last decade:

I wouldn't feel comfortable selling others people work, but if you don't mind I could do that.

I didn't think about selling it, but give it out for free, if someone asks. Or give him the links to the files, so he can download them himself (pay attention to the correct use of capital and small letters).

If you want to put the files on your CD for sale, I don't have a problem with it. But please don't change anything (file names, author details etc.).

Thanks Roland !!!!

Great work on that Sports Almanac.

Are you also going to make that "Tales From Space" Cover ?

Thanks again.

If someone can find out, which comic was used for the inner pages, I will make the complete "Tales From Space" comic.

I honestly don't really think that will matter much because we don't see it at all lol, but I geuss if you're a nut for every last detail.

BTW, you're making the 3 page letter from Back to the Future Part 3 right?

Since we know at least one page of the used comic, it's possible to find the whole correct comic. ;)

Yes, that's one of my next projects next month. The 3 pages of the letter, the 1 page of the repair instructions and both envelopes. :)

Hey Roland,
In the scene where the Delorean bursts out of the barn, Mr Peabody throws his son out of the way. If you go through frame by frame, the comic book opens a little and you can see a little bit of a page.
It's not enough to identify it, but maybe if someone does figure out which book it is, this extra bit may be able to confirm whether different comics were used.
(I havent taken a screen shot because your Blu-Ray will be much clearer than my DVD)

What if I add a QR code to the display? That would be the easiest way.

It is a page with text only ...

If the text can be read, it might be tracebale...

If a character name is mentioned maybe. It looks like one of those one time only sci-fi story comics though, so it might be even harder to trace given that those types aren't very popular.

Since we know at least one page of the used comic, it's possible to find the whole correct comic. ;)

True, my point is though that we don't really see any of it IN THE MOVIE, other than a few quick shots, and even than it's blurred to the point where we can't make it out. Also, searching online, there seems to be 3 known complete comics, so I'm wondering if they're all glued with the same comic.
