Back to the Future

There's only only one like this.

No, there are two posters with different cloud backgrounds available. The one on your picture (right one on my picture) is the correct one from the movie.

I'm looking for a "Tales from Space" file so I can make my own comic (not to sell, of course). I've searched the thread and only found lower res copies.

I will work out a trade of some sort to anyone that can provide me with a nice file. ...

The only thing you have to do is waiting. My version of that comic will come one day. :)

Thanks Roland. I printed out your "A Match Made in Space" file and it looks great. It will be a nice coffee table piece.

I'm hoping to add a few of the comics and get them framed.

One of the production covers was put onto a comic printed by Impact, I think it was a Spawn issue, but it is not correct to what was used in the movie, but it was a comic that was used for other productions. I know because it is sitting here in my collection. Several of the original first batch covers were put onto other comics and used in other productions as Vivek noted. A Tales From Space was even in McDonalds commerical and a TV show named Camp Wilder. The first batch of covers is different from the ones that the prop house prints and uses today. The originals were all photographic prints, there is nothing computer about them at all. I know of two seperate complete Tales From Space covers made and used in the first movie. There are a handful of back up covers that were never attached to any comic book, they still have the adhesive backing on them. Then there is a small handful of the comics that were put on the comics in the early 1990s and were used in various productions. My comic has a Wintergreen gum ad that has been cleared, you can see that ad on numerous magazines and comics in books and movies all over. Years ago when I did an interview with Andrew Probert I sent my production cover to him and he compared it to the example he still has in his collection, said it looked right and signed it for me. Its the only signed original prop in my collection and one my favorites.

Interesting facts about the "Tales from Space" comic. It's funny that it has gone into other productions. I've always been a fan of BTTF but I was never aware of all the prop replicas. I kind of just found this place on accident and now I'm interested in this stuff.

Are most of the people on here designers or creatives? or just hobbyists?

Most of what I've seen has been really good.

Ok, this isn't a prop, but it's something I thought you guys might like. It's a downloadable Back to the Future Board Game I found on the internet YEARS ago (2003). The files are in Microsoft Excel format, which I had to re-reconvert. Unfortunately I was missing one of the fonts that was used for the numbers on the board (it was font a like LCD display, but I can't edit the board to make the correction with a newer font cause it's locked.

Anyway, it's in a winzip file so, enjoy!
