Back to the Future - Badges

Yes, I have seen a clear moment where you could see it, but shoo, I should have taken a screenshot xD

This one would be great, but eeer, I wish the head was black xD

... I wish the head was black xD...

That's not the only problem. That pin is 2 1/4 inches. Now that we know the exact size of the "Art in Revolution" pin, it's easy to find out the correct size of the bass guitar pin: It's exactly 2 inches.

By the way: where did you buy your pin? The only eBay seller, that is offering those pins, isn't offering international shipping.

I received the last of my pins yesterday. I showed them off and reviewed them on my blog, Rich Collectibles. Here is the blog article link:

I don't know if Seismic Music ships internationally, that is where I bought my guitar pin from. I'm not going for screen accuracy, I did want a guitar pin. I chose a B.C Rich Warlock Blue electric because I like it and it pays tribute to another favorite time travel movie, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure.

On a related note I may buy a denim jacket I like on-line this weekend. After getting the pins I wanted to put them on a jacket. :)

Well I actually had to ask an American friend to get them :/ ! It's so annoying that some EBAY sellers don't offer international shipping -_-*
Richard, Yes Seismic Music offer international shipping n_n

I understand where you're coming from. I normally don't ship internationally. However, I don't sell on eBay that much. In the days before Pay Pal (where people sent you payment in the mail, anyone remember that?) it would have cost me more in fees to cash their money orders. The item price was usually inexpensive to begin with. In fact I still have one money order after all these years!. :facepalm

eBay/Pay Pal of course have rules in place to protect the transaction. It still can be a risk with the few people who would claim they didn't get their items, etc and make selling internationally a hassle. :wacko I know Emma and Roland for example more. For me that's different. We aren't exactly strangers. :cool

That's great Seismic Music does offer international shipping. I recommend them. :)

Here's a picture I took today with two of the three pins on my jacket. I also wrote more about my Guess denim jacket, the pins, and took more pictures. Which can be found on my blog.

Here's a close up picture with all three pins from last night.

Hey guys, so I made a few researches, and yeah the bass IS a brooch, I took some pictures, and I always identify 2 extrimities that would definitely shows that's a brooch, so as I am a bit... perfectionnist, I had to transform the pin I have into a brooch xD!

So here is a picture that shows that the bass is a brooch:

These are the 2 pin/brooch that I had

Then I removed the brooch bar and the pin (that were extremely well glued -_-)

And used the brooch to the other bass pin (has it gots the head black, it's a bit more accurate), and TADA XD

Now I need to make the boomerang xD

Oh yeah, you had the backpack and skateboard too! Can you skate? :D

Totally OT but did you guys know the rights for the Class 5 that made the vest were sold to a japanese company? Somebody needs to persuade them to make the accura color available again...

... Now I need to make the boomerang xD ...

I saw it in several 80s US-movies: it seems to have been usual, when teens in the 80s started a new relationship, that the girl gave her boyfriend one of her ear rings. You can see it for example at the end of "The Breakfast Club". The boomerang pin could be one of Jennifer's ear rings.

When did that happen? As far as I know, clothing designer Justus Bauschinger is still the owner of the "Class-5" name. Yes, he's a German, living in the US. :D I contacted him three months ago, but I never got a response.

I got this mail from a japanese site when I contacted them about the vest:

"Thank you for an inquiry.

About Class-5 down vest.

It must be a brand of down vest wearing in Back to the Future, but Class-5 of the time becomes extinct and does not do the production in the United States. A Japanese maker acquires the license of the brand and makes it as new class-5.

Thanking you in advance."

This was the website.

Edit: Okay, so I confused the licensed / sold part. :confused

Yeah I know this Roland, I made some researches, but I cannot find any similar boomerang, so I think I will have to make it, or find something similar to modify xD
VilleLeskinen Nah I can't skate sadly xD!
Mmmh I thought the 5-class brand was dead? Aaaah, oh well, I wish there were more people selling 5class vest XD I bet there are a tons of people who still have these but who have no idea if it's valuable or not x)

So basically there's still a chance they might produce them in the original colour. I wonder how those vest would take dye?

Oh and sorry for taking this OT. :unsure

Edit: On topic, the earring idea sounds plausable. No wonder, coming from Roland! :D

I do have a light green 5 class vest. I did try to dye it orange with a specific polyester dye, but as the jacket is stuffed, it kept floating at the surface and even if I put a rock on it, the extremety would float again xD And now that it dried the stuffing kinda shrinked -_-
