In all seriousness, I’m looking forward to giving Babylon 5 a shot. I only watched bits of season one, when it originally premiered.

So I didn't watch this show when it originally aired. But I decided to give it a shot since I have HBOmax.
I've been pleasantly surprised. I'm half way into the first season and very much enjoying the show.
I'd prefer 16:9 as well if it was shot with that in mind, but I guess it was made for 4:3. There's always the zoom function if it really bothers you, but it doesn't scan for the optimal height for a given scene.Wish it was in 16:9 and remastered...
Remastering seems like it might be technologically possible, even without proper masters with no CG elements comped in. I just watched a video on YouTube yesterday that demonstrated a program that uses an AI to help do rotoscoping. If somebody were willing to invest the money, I think that within a few years it would be possible to remaster B5 to include updated CG using this new AI rotoscoping technology because it would, theoretically, cut down the time needed to rotoscope out the live action to comp in new CG by a significant amount and as most of us are aware, time is money in film and TV (post) production.Wish it was in 16:9 and remastered...
