Babylon 5 machined aluminium PPG kits??

Wow! Thanks so much Terry. that answers a few questions I have had of how the grips transition to the frame.

Thanks man...

Sean.

starbuc, if you made resin casts from your hero ppg, would you make it with a removable power cap?

Possibly. I may make them as a multi part kit with right metal screws and such or just "stunt" castings, one solid piece of resin. Or I may make both available.
Will know in the next few days.

Terry

I would be up for a kit with the screws, I know it would be more pricey than a stunt one, but there are some things that are worth it

I've been machining movie props for private collectors, and I have this...oops, I can't seem to load my images of machined (alum.) ppg [upper] frame! does anyone know why?

photo.JPG ok, I finally got a pic up but for some reason the others won't load, the one shown is from my digital camera the others are from my phone, soo...i don't know if it makes a difference but i can't seem to load the rest, but to bypass the trouble, i'll take pics with my digital camera, again, tonight after i get home for work or tomorrow.

It's a one off, maybe from the run done here and that price is insane! :lol

I just looked at monstersinmotion ppg...I must've past out, because when i came to I found myself here in this thread...and i can't figure out how.
I'm not trying to plug any services specially here, at all...I was just caught by surprise.
Crikeys! I'm not charging my client no where near that price...for two, at that! I don't even charge for shipping! Im charging for my machining services and materials. as for the MIM PPG, both the machining and matreial(s), at standard machining service/cost doesn't average out. speciall if it were done in cnc, is it because it's "one off?" WOW...but...wow.

anyways I'm going to be making my own thread once everything comes together... per Appollo's suggestion, I apologize for not putting picks up, but I was dead tired when i got home from work and I don't want to tease you all with half done projects and pics, I'll try tonight

I have one of the machined aluminum PPGs from the previous runs and I recall it cost about $300 - $400 then, but just seen the Monsters in Motion one for $975! whoa!
