Baby Yoda Sculpt

I realize there are probably a bunch of these already, but I couldn’t resist. Started a bunch of times now and feel like I’m finally where I need to be. Still roughing it together then I can really start detailing it.

I do the ears last. It is hard to move it around and do details if I stick the ears on now. This is how I did my other Yoda and it worked well. It is very tempting to throw some ears on, but I know I should just be patient and take my time on some of the finer details.

There are many ways of doing the same thing I guess. I prefer to have all the shapes there when sculpting. I think it helps to be more accurate and prevents from surprises.
It´s like sculpting a human head without the ears, not the best way I´d say.
But what´s important is the result, not how it was made anyway. Good luck.

A little more progress. Mostly shaving some off the chin and lower checks. Also making sure it looks even overall.

That's just so freaking adorable. You really captured the cutesy look of that character. Always like seeing your sculpts come to life.
