Alright, by now I hope everyone has seen the movie and completely fallen in love with baby groot. I decided I needed to have one so I spent some time sculpting my own. This is made out of super sculpy, but I do plan on molding it to make some resin copies in the very near future. Paint on this one was quick just to get an idea of the final piece. Final copies will be fully painted and have added moss/leaves, etc. Without further delay, here is baby Groot and some progress shots as well.
