i worked from the B-Club Special artbook directly - im guessing that there was a bit of distortion in the plane importer so that might be why they look a bit bulkier. the better of the handplates is in the alt forearm file and the other forearm i posted is supposed to rest inside the other part - i found that out after importing the model of the forearm back into my software and then checking against the rest of it. i had to use estimates for the scale sizes on the whole thing primarily there is no scale referance in the artbook and if there is i missed it completely.

as for the helmet, when you build it check the part your working on against wht it shows in pepakura viewer/designer - if you right click on the pane with the 2d parts theres an option that says "Check Corrosponding face" i did build these files myself - so there is a bit of artistic liscense taken but checking against the referance material it the differences are minuet as this is just a generic suit.

4shared does have some strange downloading policy from time to time so sometimes you just have to wait a bit - usually you can get 5 files at a time

oh the corisponding faces are a piece of cake. what im talking about is that there are a bunch of tiny random pieces, like on the cheek accent on the helmet. i found myself saying "why is this piece separate on one side but not separate on the other"

but i guess that it is difficult to create a 3d image on one program and have it unfold perfectly on the other program. i guess there wasnt much time spent going back and forth to make sure everything actually unfolded properly and there wasnt much editing in the 3d image to make the pepakura file better.

as far as downloading from that one site. i still cant download the rest. i got the first half but its not letting me access the rest. at all. on either of my computers. maybe its a full 24 hours. but its not my imagination. it will let me re-download what i have already downloaded. but it wont let me access the other files.

like i suggested. you should create a folder on you computer . right click "zip" and then post THAT file up. so people can download the whole thing in one shot.

ok i see what you mean - some of the faces in translation from the 3d program were somehow flipped around when imported into Pepakura Designer

but im going to be making a zip file for easier access

Update time! I have decided that the first person to post a COMPLETED set of BGC armor will get 1 FREE commission job. Also im going to start working on the MotoSlave in about a month here. so you can look forward to that - i've also posted a donation link on the first post of this thread so if you like my files and want to see more donate any amount.

i think you need to make a better bgc 3d file and get more practice in before you start charging people for your "work"

attached are the images from the file i purchased last week. i paid propzone.be for the files and i am very pleased. i had alot of problems trying to pep the files you created.


just thought you'd like some actual feed back on the files . criticism makes for improvement.

just posted a varient of the MK V Iron Man helm. its not unfolded yet, its just a side project. i may do the rest of the suit, but i have other stuff in the works, as well as looking for a new job, so all other plans in the mean time are put off.

@fc3schick87: I made a very generic low def file set that all could enjoy. im not telling people to pay me, and im not being stingy about the low def basic stuff i make. If some one feels like donationg, cool, if no, then i will still keep giving out the generic low def stuff. i do this in my spare time for fun. your feed back seems more of an advertisement and it kind of angers me. If the files are difficult i apologize - i never claimed ease of build. to compound matters you send me the same message via PM

Bringing you guys an update here.

I have just uploaded the unfolded MK V Helmet so enjoy. as of today i will not be building any more pep files, and if i do i will not be posting them. More than a few people have done nothing but criticize or complain while im offering files for free. is the hardsuit i modeled perfect? by no means it is (that means no to dumb it down a bit). In about a week or two i will also be pulling the rest of my files. again, this is due to the complaints and criticizems.

So enjoy all, donation link is gone and even if it were up there it would still not change my mind

Darn I really liked your work, I was hoping to use your hand files for Iron man but since you pulled them down kind of a devastating loss for me T_T

Well i know i said i wont be offering files any more, but i figured what the heck - captain america is coming up soon and a few people i know are struggling with a shield so here is a pep file for you all to enjoy.

EDIT: I will be doing an unfold of the hand file i came up with but it will NOT be an easy build - there are a few back faces i have to take out and a few other places i have to work up again.

for the last few days i have been getting an overwhelming amount of requests for the hardsuit i made up. that has prompted me to re-post my hardsuit files. Yes, these are the very same files that i pulled because of rude a-holes that flooded my inbox with comments that were really quite mean. im offering these in zip format simply because its easier and much less time consuming this way. I will also be putting together a hardsuit at the end of summer to have something to display. i will also be working on (possibly in the near future) on Priss's Buster Glove (the mecahnical left hand that comes with her suit) and collar, plus maybe a few more accessories. accessory parts will be free of charge, assuming there is a large enough demand.

if a file is missing, which i am assuming there are none, please PM me right away and let me know whats not included.

any thime, and thanks for the vote of confidence.

there have been some issues with the overall bulk of this suit here. to address this concern i would like all of you to know that the suit is designed a bit bulkier than what you have seen in the Anime or Graphic Novels simply because of the following reasons.

once painted the Hardsuits were dark in color for the most part, darker reds. blues, ect except for Nene's suit. the difference is that Nene was ALOT smaller than the others and those suits were also size specific. This means that without exact mesurements for things like bust, waist, height, foot size, etc. there is no way to make something that will look thin fromstart.

the second reason is padding. fiberglassed pep suits NEED padding. if you have EVER worn a fiberglass armor (i.e. Halo) the padding makes it wearable.

there is also the fact that the suits in the Anime/Graphic Novels were also thin as paper made from some unknown metal/material and were formed right over the user's body.

So I hope I addressed your concerns guys!
