I just want a commercial where we hear Captain America say "Avengers Assemble" already.

I have a feeling that iron man will say it since he seems to be the main focus of the film. Though I hope the guys who saw it will call me an idiot. :)
 
It looks like in the fight between Thor and Iron Man that Iron Man fires his chest RT and both his hand RT's at thor at once, I like that :cool
 
The fight between Thor and Iron Man is cool, but really, "power is at 400% of capacity?"

If there is a capacity, and you're at 100%, then it's fully. No more room. You can't be at 400% of capacity unless you have four suits. It's like saying a glass is full, 4 times. Well, that means the drink has has filled 100% of the glass and 3 glassfulls of drink has just spilled all over the place.

You can overclock a PC..

Think of it as an engine that runs as a constant 3k RPM to operate, it CAN run at 7k RPM.. but you're going to blow it up.

It's not overclocking a PC though. It's a defined capacity. You can't then actually have more than a 100% capacity of something. The glass is either some percentage filled or full, but once it's at 100% filled anytime you try to pour more into it it runs down the side of the glass and is lost. It's just bad English, and I have more respect for Joss' writing to let something patently illogical slide through.

We don't have full context of the fight, but I'd rather they had been fighting a while and the suit's power was at critically low levels and he was about to lose the fight (as opposed to being 200% empty, which is no different than 400% full) before being hit with the lightning. Recharges the suit, and IM is back in for another few rounds.

I do agree with your cup analogy, and I should have written my post better. I think what I stated is what they were going for vs the physically impossible which they have created

The girl still passed out in my bed had her glass at a whopping 4,000% I believe...
