Avengers Movie SPOILER Thread

Re: The Avengers... HD Pics...

I may be wrong but I think they are refering to the fact that the movie isn't out on BR yet so how is he getting these HD pics? must have a ripped copy of the movie which is not wise to advertise.

Re: The Avengers... HD Pics...

Probably not a good idea to post those here. Doesn't take a genius to figure out where you're getting them from.

The internets... 1's & 0's !?!
And I know exactly where I got them... From an e-mail... From a friend... I don't have this movie yet, and I have already pre-ordered the movie.... I don't download movies... I buy my movies... etc. etc. etc.
I asked my friend to find key moments in the movie that I liked, when I watched the movie in the theatre.... He grabbed them, he sent them to me.

Badda-Bing... Badda Boom! (Sorry to Sopranos people for "Badda Bing"... I'll send money!)

I'm trying to answer all the future comments and questions. If you don't want to see them, I'll be more than happy to take em' down.:facepalm:facepalm:facepalm:facepalm

Re: The Avengers... Good movie

Screeners have been out for a good week or two now. I had one loaned the other day from someone that will go nameless yet their name is on the movie poster, lol. Super hero movies are not my cup of tea but they chose the right director for the project.

If they left that in they would have to have deleted a few other scenes because it sets her up as selling out Fury. Completely changes her character (for the worse, imo) and I agree - sets a much darker mood for the movie, one that is out of place for the rest of the film.

It also gave some context to that random waitress interview at the end........why the heck did they not use that?

Agreed. That ending with the waitress bugged the hell out of me. I was like: "Who was she?"; "Why was her interviewed just chucked in there?"; "How did she recognize Cap without his helmet?"; "WHY did she recognize Cap without his helmet?"; "OMG, is she related to Peggy?!"

:facepalm

Okay, I have a stupid question about something that I don't understand.

What did BW mean when she said she had red ink in her file ? She said it twice so they were really trying to stress that issue to us but I missed the meaning.

She wanted to redeem herself because she used to kill people before joining SHIELD ? Because she kills people for SHIELD ?

A ledger can be red or black. My reading on "there's red in my ledger" is that she has debts (specifically to Barton) that she wanted to make right. Of course, Loki knew about that from Barton already. But she knew he knew. So she played him.

Everyone wants an all black ledger.

I kind of looked at it as a metaphor, she
killed allot of people " back in the day " so
she had blood on her hands.

Or, RED in her Ledger... :unsure

Whose to say many of them weren't innocents ?

I mean, she did say Barton was SENT by Shield to
kill her. Now, I take that too mean she was a VERY bad girl !

Yeah, I'm very familiar with the adage of red and black ink (ie Black Friday) I just wasn't sure what exactly she meant when she used it in the movie.
