Hey all,
If you live in So Cal and have Star Wars Props, the Crew of the upcoming Fanboys movie is looking for you!!!

Here is a repost of the email I got from Cory...

Dear 501st, I'm a Production Designer working on re-shoots for a Star Wars themed film called FANBOYS being produced by The Weinstein Company and MGM. We shot the original film in New Mexico, where we had a great amount of help form the Mos Alba 501st.
We are now re-shooting some scenes here in L.A. that we realized we didn't get when we originally shot the film a year ago. One of the scenes we are recreating takes place in George Lucas's Archive Room at the Skywalker Ranch.
When we originally shot this, we had great help and support in using props and costumes form the Mos Alba 501st, without them we wouldn't have been able to create the scene. As we get into the re-shoots I'm trying to get support from the Southern California area 501st. We are in need of costumes and props worthy of the Lucas Archive Room, and are willing to rent them from any member able to help out. After seeing the work created by fans of Star Wars I know it to be of a great quality with a high attention to detail.
We plan on shooting the first week of December, and any props used could be placed on the set and monitored by the owners so they can be sure that nothing happens to it.
We're in a tough spot because of the rarity in finding a decent amount of quality props representing the Star Wars world. Your help will help make this fan film great. Please let me know if you're willing to lend your services. We are able to pay. Below you can find the info on the film. Please contact me through the number below. Thank you.

Wow! This could give some people the oppurtunity to turn their replica props into screen used props!:lol

Do you think they would be interested in a landspeeder??? I know that I'm not in California, but I figure it's worth a shot...

Maybe I'll drop them a line and ask... :love

I dont think there is room for a landspeeder. But hey ask them!

At least in the first shoot the main room was not that big. I had several large props in the original shoot and the room was pretty full.
