Most of you have probably seen the Serenity Visual Companion by now which contains the shooting script for the film along with TONS Of photos and production sketches. Well, last week (I believe) the first of two companions for the series came out. Wonderful pics and highly useful costuming close-ups and sketches.

OH. They also have discussions about how things like the weapons and holsters were made.

Here are links to both on Barnes & Noble for those interested in them. :D

I got "Volume One" just the other day. It's great. It has the scripts for the first 6 episodes (Volume Two will have the last eight episode scripts) PLUS those new interviews with the cast & crew, behind-the-scenes stuff galore & the 1st part of a new in-depth Whedon interview.
Great pictures & seketches as you mentioned too

Highly reccomended.

Yah, I have this too through Amazon... love the detailed description about how they made the Universal Encylopedia... combined with our own research thread here, anyone can make a pretty accurate replica.

I got mine a couple weeks ago too, definitely a cool book.

Good pics of the encyclopedia, though the prop maker made a mistake in saying it was made from a Franklin personal organizer. ;)
