Attaching Vader chest armor and shoulder bells?

For the folks with Vader helmet and armor, I have a question... how do you go about attaching the shoulder bells to the chest armor? Or, if you don't attach them to the chest armor, do you attach them directly to a leather suit? Just trying to find a solid solution to this. I suppose I could velcro them all together with industrial strength velcro.

I have old GT armor, it has 2 little sockets on each side that are JB Welded to the armor, that 2 allen head bolts screw into. You just stick the allen head bolts through a strip of leather and screw the leather into the holes, same for the other side, works great.
