Title says it all I presume. Has anyone made Ash's Hand from Army Of Darkness?

its something ive wanted to do for a long time, never really found a good source for an accurace gauntlet that i could alter, i was going to use a metal mesh fishermans glove for the chainmail part,

and i was told by a guy i know in the biz that the finger metal parts were made using cigar tubes,
