I thought all you trek prop fans might enjoy seeing this one, it is the Art Asylum Phaser II Prototype from 2003, this is the First Shot done prior to production of the phaser. Enjoy...

Hang on to it and keep it somewhere airtight to keep the plastic from oxidizing. From my understanding those pieces are usually destroyed...or warehoused like the Ark by the toy companies.

I saw it at the Indy Prop Party a couple of Saturdays ago. It's pretty cool.

It looks like a Mego Trek Action Figure phaser on steroids. :lol

I can see that with it being all one color like the old figures!
UFP-1701 needs to be a Mego figure for the next Halloween.

Well, This being his third I KNOW he's, going to send the one from the party to ME!!!!!

Man, these things are soo cool!
Almost makes me want to get a can of aqua green paint and make my own :lol

Wait a sec...let's mold that sucker!!!!

"Where does he get those incredible toys?!"

Thanks for all the comments guys, most of you that know me personally, know that I am really into the prototypes, due to the fact that I nearly possess one of every example from all the builders out there from the 70's to present day, from phasers to Communicators, to tricorders to the more obscure pieces, I guess most of it is being in the right place at the right time and then being able to purchase it, Bill you on at the top of the list should I decide to part with one.

And thanks to SLK, never thought about the plastic deteriorating, I will button them up right now.

FHC has let the cat out of the bag, now I need to sharpen my Ninja Swords...:lol
