Arnold T2 bust

Just when I though I was getting out of Terminator collecting, I get drawn back in. First with Sideshow releasing the Stan endoskull, flex pay is too tempting, than with getting this bust. I purchased this from houdiniguy and I love it. It is solid plaster (?), has sculpted hair, battle damage, and a light up endoeye. The pics that Tom sent me did it no justice. There are a few mods I want to make such as adding an eye lens and stalks with bearings on the endo, whitening Arnold's eye, grinding out the CPU chip access, touching up the hair, and fixing the nose. I have seen this on yourprops.com but never the info on who sculpted it or where it came from. Below are some quick pics. Didn't have any Terminator sunglasses so my Oakley plates had to stand in.

I thought that there use to be a site with tutorials on weapons. I found one with a shoppers list for making an M134 minigun stand-in with parts from Lowes. I know there was one for the M83HCC grenades used in the future scenes. Were these used in Aliens also? They look like PVC tubes with a handle. Any leads on M79 too. All input is appreciated.

Well, all I know is that I have a resin version of the face... Without hair and brow. It's been recasted a couple of times I guess because it's really small compared to my Greyzon Endo skull and detail is not great.. It's a good sculpt though. I like it a lot. Haven't started working it yet.

That's pretty nice for a plaster cast....should make a nice display piece. And I always thought the future grenades were pesticide tanks. The ones with the pump handle in the top.

Don't go too white on the eye, and remember -- plaster chips. So take care with grinding anything...

I've had a copy of this on in the past. The history on this piece has eluded me as well...

I'm nearly 100% positiive that it is a custom sculpt, however. Not sure if a life-cast was used as a base or not. Not sure how the endo parts were achieved (caset off a Gray Zon, perhaps?). What I can say with pretty strong certainty is that this piece does not match any Stan Winston work. The damage pattern doesn't match any of the figures or make-ups created by Winston's studios, regardless of damage stage.

Glad he got there in one piece.
He weighs in at like 20 pounds.

Reminds me in Terminator 3 when the cop tries to
move arnie, when he was knocked out and weighed so much he couldn't move him.

Have fun..

I had this piece when it was just an unpainted chunk of plaster.
I painted this specific one about 4 years ago:)
I had traded it off and now here it is.
Small world LOL.

You did a great job. :thumbsup Do you know anything about the history of the piece or the producer? I just want to whiten the eye. It looks like it has yellowed slightly and poor Arnold has slight Jaundice or liver problems.:lol Any suggestions? Did you repair the nose? It appears to be the original paint but I am sure it is just a close match.

Thanks.

Greg
