I pre-ordered one of these I'm seriously thinking of casting it in clear for lighting... strickly for my own use...

For example, the Blockade runner they had was hollow and you could separate the halves to put some lighting it

That’s exactly what I did! I bought a secothand one and had to break it open, installed lighting, then primed and repainted it.

She’s not perfect but Im happy until Bandai releases a large version of this ship.

After I had primed it, I was surprised it’s actually is a nice little model with good detail. I wish the X-wing game folks would sell some these ships unbuilt. I would buy the new SSD in heartbeat!
