Arkham Origins Deathstroke W.I.P

I've been looking around on this sight for about 5 months now and this is my first time making a costume or prop of any kind. I've researched everything I could about my costume and I started making my helmet 2 months ago and I think it's coming out pretty good. I'm making it for Cincinnati Comic Expo and Wizard World Ohio. I hope you like my thread! I have started my second coat as of now and I'm going to be doing it in sections.

Back the crack on the inside of the helmet rather than just the outside. Once cardboard bends, its weakened. Once the inside is dry, patch the outside again and it should be ok. Just make sure you use enough of the inside :) or even better would be a layer of polyester resin but you have to be careful with that stuff.

nice work so far! just out of curiosity, what are you doing for the leather belts? i'm looking for them for a project of my own and cant seem to find a good place to get thick, wide leather straps

I'm going to go to a leather shop in my area you would probably be able to find one near you

I'm using the same pepakura mask as a template for a foam mask, do you have any more pictures or maybe even a video of the folds and stuff? I can't seem to figure out how this thing goes together :/

Thank you so much for helping me what I did was I cut a paint mixer stick to the size of the helmet when you stretch it open. Then I started fiberglassing some more and I let that cure overnight. I took the stick out And the fiberglass dried that way and it is sturdier I then bondoed the crack and sanded it now it's gone
