Hello guys, I created my account today, but have been a fan of the site for quite a while. I am currently working on an Arkham based batsuit. I have already done a few parts to it, so I will post photos of my progress from when I started to now. And to when I finally finish the suit. Please keep in mind I'm just going into high school and am unable to create OMG screen accurate costumes. I just make these outfits as best as I can, and because I enjoy making them as well.
So here so here are my templates for the suit, as well as the materials (Eva foam for the most part, but basic supplies like scissors, hot glue gun, etc)

Here is the main vest, gauntlets and arm/leg armour I have already made. I still need to paint parts, and buy/ add more straps for the arms/legs

1st photo: arm/leg armour. 2nd and 4rd photo: main body armour. 3rd photo: the gauntlets. And 5th, a WIP belt
(The weird looking black things on the armour is my interpretation of weathering the suit)
PS [sorry if some of the photosare blurry, I took them in a rush]. The attachment photo is really blurry.
Hello fellow RPF members,
I recently got to purchase my cowl for this build, and was going to show it on this post. Now it's frankly impossible for me to buy one of those hand sculpted cowls that cost over $200. I'm just not that rich. :facepalm A replacement for these "top end" cowls would be Rubies... Now Rubies cowls are not the best quality and they have some pretty horrible stuff, but that's my only option. (like I said, I'm broke). Anyways, I tried on two cowls available at this costume store. Of course the Arkham cowl (that's the one the suits based on!) and the 1989 cowl (just to see what it looks like). Now I'm happy I tried both, because the Arkham cowl was tiny. I cound barely fit my head in it, so that was a no go, even though that was the cowl I wanted. Well I had to find a substitute, which was the 1989 cowl. I was not happy about this because, it looks NOTHING like the Arkham cowl. Hers the cowl in all its (bad) glory.

I did some modifications by removing the neck and bat emblem to make it like this (better than before) however the jaw is bent in.

Sadly, I won't be able to continue this suit because I'm lacking a heat gun... Ya, once I get that then some serious progress will be done.
