ARC Raiders Safe Pocket

In a separate rpf thread I was introduced to a soon to be released (October 30, 2025) video game named ARC Raiders. This game is already being touted as a possible contender for “Best Game of the Year”. At least for me it has some very interesting visual elements and ideas for props and cosplay potential.

As a new intellectual property there is still limited information and images. I enjoy the challenge of searching for online “nuggets” and filling in the gaps to recreate what I hope may be close to the game elements.

I have already attempted to recreate some of these items and graphics and have posted them in the alternate thread to get feedback and additional insight others might have about my assumptions. I thought I would create a new thread with a title which might attract gamers with more knowledge to get their opinions, knowledge, images, and suggestions.

In ARC Raiders, a limited number of a character's inventory items can be stored in the “safe pocket” which are unaffected by a character's death, meaning they will be available at the player's base after respawning. Players use the safe pocket to store items they don't want to risk losing. I hope the things and information forum members post here will also be those worthy of retention.

One of the early ARC Raider quests is to obtain and return a Tick Pod to Shani in Speranza. In addition to completing quests, Tick Pods are an important resource of the raw material “ARC alloy” which is used in the games “crafting” process, and also important to advance within the player's skill tree.

Here is my initial take on the Tick Pod base. This does not include the three pieces of ARC alloy which plug into the six connectors. In true Raider fashion I intent to obtain the aluminum wire from my neighbor's chain link fence which they use to hold the mesh fabric to the poles and cross rails.

If this is accurate and there is interest, I can make the .stl available here in the safe pocket for others to use.

My approach to 3D models may differ from others. Whenever possible I try to design the models like real world items. I break the original design into component parts and where possible make those components hollow shells which can be assembled and disassembled. This often allows me to add internal electronic elements or other functional benefits. For example, bulky hollow objects with the appropriate compartments are great for storing and carrying the handouts and swag we pick up in the vendor rooms. They can also provide “in-character” storage containers to carry identification, snacks, valuables, etc.

Once I have the individual parts I merge them together in my modeling software to check how everything fits and works together. This makes a solid object which I call a “stunt” version of the object. This is often the .stl I make available if anyone is interested in the prop. I keep the “Hero” version of the design for myself.

For the Tick Pod I added an additional element to my model. Since the Tick Pod in ARC Raiders is supposed to be an object Raiders take apart to scavenge raw materials, I have made my individual parts into a 3-D 3D printed puzzle. The individual components fit together and includes some sliding and pinned elements to hold things together but also make it easy to disassemble. There is even space for the player to add their own "payload".

Here is the exploded view of my version of the Tick Pod.

If you have not seen the ARC Raiders graphics you might be interested in the images I have created. Until better information is available I have labelled them Celeste's Raider's Patch, Lance's Enlist Resist Patch, and the SFORZA Patch.

Returning to Speranza. A back alley. An abandoned Store Front. A Raider's Workbench.

Not bad for a Timmy New Shoes.

Another ARC Raiders graphic. I am trying to find this graphic's association. It is the background for a discussion of a team-manned weapon - the howitzer. So for now, the Howitzer Patch

Since weapon props are popular on the forum would there be any interest in a Kettle-water bottle design? If not, are there any other suggestions? I am getting tired of posting to myself.

Your team just took down a harvester so you can't hang around long. But - you still gotta tag it, right?

Here is my Raiders stencil to do the job quick. At 63 x 63 x .6 mm its almost 0 plastic and 0 kg. If you want to brag you can scale it bigger XY but .6 makes a fine stencil Recipe below. Arruolure Resistere.

I am looking for someone with better images or better eyesight to produce the Light Ammo box. My take for the central text is "lieve calibo" or "light caliber" in Italian. My bottom line text, for real? Any help appreciated.

Forum member Utri shared an ARC Raiders video which illustrated how to select and equip your avatar in the game. Once again some of the equipment designs caught my attention. On the Rookie Raider, there is a shoulder strap attachment. I am not sure of its real in-game purpose but it reminded me of a Satellite Phone. Here is my model of the device. All additional information about the device or other interesting ARC Raiders images are welcome.
