Applying Latex In Cold Weather

I was going to start applying Latex to suit tonight. However my workshop ( back room with no double Glazing) is currently sitting at - degrees. Thinking it is at least - 7 tonight outside.

Should I wait for milder weather?

I am currently sitting with two dressing gowns in room.. So cold.. So hate Scotland in the winter..lol

Cheers

It will still dry regardless of heat, just ALOT slower. I used to pour masks in my workshop which had NO heating, and was often close to freezing in the wiinter.

And this should be in the HELP section

Aaaayee cheers Lee for info ... It's Baltic here not happy. Was not aware there was a help section..where go you post there.,

Cool. Thought because thread pertained to a question about body suits it should be here...I like order and see how it should be in other section.

also should be said that you should keep your  latex out of the freezing cold, if it freezes its scrap, found this out the hard way when i lost a five gallon pail years ago, i keep it under the stairs in the house in the winter

Good thinking, have stashed away in my cupboard under the stairs. I bet you were cursing when you lost the five gallon... Not good.

you could also do like a make shift hot box, build a plywood box with a few tiny vent holes and a hole for a blow dryer or heater with a fan and direct the hot air into the box, just throw a thermometer into it so you know the average temp and try to keep it between 80 and 100 degrees.  Does beat having sit there with a blow dryer, but the blow dryer or heat gun will work.
