Yes it's that time of year again, I am one year older and another year has passed that Stanley is no longer with us.

Where were you when you heard the news 12 years ago that Stanley had passed.

I had just done a 40 mile Bike ride and was sitting in the Hot Tub watching T.V. waiting for my girlfriend to come over so we could go out to lunch when I heard the news.

I could'nt believe or imagine that there would not be anymore Kubrick films made.

Heres to you Stanley :cheers thank you so much for all the Classics!

He's my favorite director. Smart. Surprising. Funny. Dark. Wished he's lived long enough to do A.I. his way... and Napoleon... Here's to you, Stanley...

Huge Kubrick fan. I know it was just weeks prior to the release of Eyes Wide Shut (which I saw opening night). I'm sure I was at my parents house and heard it on the evening news. He wasn't that old. Just 70. Damn shame that he never even made it to the real 2001.

My favorite movie of his is Dr Strangelove, it's pure comedy brilliance between him and Peter Sellers.

My favorite is probably Clockwork Orange. Just in terms of the ideas and his execution. First time I saw it I was 22 and at USC film school... "I was cured all right."

I was in high school when I heard the news. I like a lot of his films, 2001, Full Metal Jacket, A Clockwork Orange and I even Eyes Wide Shut was an interesting film to me. Can't believe it was 12 years ago.

Let's not forget Paths of Glory and Barry Lyndon. :thumbsup
