Anyone ordering the MR Animal?

As the title says, anyone ordering everyone's favourite insane little drummer?
I've wanted one for a loooooong time (since I was 5-ish), so I believe I HAVE to pick him up!

It'd be cool to get the MR one, but a bit too pricey for moi.

We were going to order one, but the fact that the price is DOUBLE what kermit's was.... well.... not sure if even the wife is up for this one.... :unsure

Yes, the hefty price is somewhat off-putting, considering how relatively cheap Kermit was.

However, when you think about it it, Kermit has no clothes, no hair, no nose, no teeth, no moving facial features like eyebrows...

Kermit is a much simpler design than Animal. His head doesn't even have any structure - it's basically just a fabric sock stuffed with polyfil!

Price difference is probably pretty realistic.

Has anyone seen the real prototype at a con or anything? MR's photos on their site are pretty lame.

They had him at SDCC. I didn't get any pictures, but I thought he was pretty good looking (they had him on display with Kermit and Gonzo)

I'm not really a Muppets fan and I wanted to take him home

Mr is quoting $199.99 same as Kermit.

Check around as I know some Mr dealers here were offering lower prices on them

The Sabervault has Animal at a great price.
And I really don't think it's all that expensive when you consider how much more complex he is than Kermit.
