Oddly the Black and Decker BV2500 is still a current model yet Event Horizon came out in 1997.

Hey, really old gravedig on this post, but I was looking for photos of this chair, which brought me to this awesome website. Rusty, do you know if this chair was actually comfortable after you finished working on it? I'm also interested in how many man hours it took to complete. It's a great piece, and Event Horizon ranks right up there with my all time favorite "sci-fi horror" films.

Rusty, do you have some photos of the chair being build?
I own the chair and you are correct, it was displayed at the London movie museum.
The chair was slightly damaged and I need to fix some parts...would be great if you have any more information for me
