Also earlier on Thursday, I got to talk to Obi-Shawn who is also from California. He and a friend drove both his vehicles cross country for this.
He made a lot of progress with his Z-wing since I last saw it at the So-Cal RPF prop party a few months ago. He was showing me a bit of his turbo laser construction and noted how he needed to patch up his Yoda puppet which had a tear on its wrist.
