I have built a few vac tables. They weren't exactly like that one. That one uses two electric grills. I remember looking in Walmart for electric grills and thought they were rather small for the job.

In vacuforming, the heating element is the tricky part. You can find "off-the-shelf" heaters for small areas, but if you want to go bigger, you will need to go custom. TK560 has a good site with lots of vacuforming information. Check there, as it is all archived for you.
