If so, you might like my latest build!

This is the "Force-a-Nature" shotgun; the Scout class upgrade weapon in TF2. This was a commission for a client I just wrapped up a couple of days ago.

Made mostly from MDF, apoxie sculpt, sintra and some PVC, I also had a friend custom-mill the trigger guard and trigger from billet aluminum. It features spring-loaded trigger and break lever pieces, 2 loading 4ga shells, and the breech is magnetized to keep the break closed. This thing is cartoony-huge too, I have to get a pic of me holding it for scale before it goes out.

If you're interested in the build process, check out my blog here: http://volpinprops.blogspot.com/2010/04/tf2-force-nature.html

That's brilliant! Great job on the paint, especially; makes it look like it came straight from the game.

Awesome, awesome, awesome work. I'm not even a Team Fortress fan, but I want one. Any chance you'll be molding and casting this baby?

I've got to admit, that's pretty dang good work. :)

I've seen a couple of TF2 replicas for weapons. I'm personally don't have a collection of TF2 props, but I've seen some over at DeviantArt:

This user has made several TF replicas that I find impressive, including a F-a-N.

1. The Handgun - http://fevereon.deviantart.com/art/Team-Fortress-2-Pistol-123127919

2. Force-A-Nature - http://fevereon.deviantart.com/art/TF2-Scout-scattergun-123743280

3. Engineer's Wrench - http://fevereon.deviantart.com/art/Meet-the-Wrench-117844734

4. Engineer's Shotgun - http://fevereon.deviantart.com/art/TF2-Shotgun-124912587

Though not like the one in the game, here's a gattlen gun: http://razielgardel.deviantart.com/art/Gatling-A2-quot-Prop-quot-132782280

Here's a Uber-Saw constructed of Cardboard by another user: http://pr0nzombie.deviantart.com/art/Ubersaw-Colour-156880787

An Engineer's Wrench by another user: http://eliw00d.deviantart.com/art/Engineer-s-Wrench-131490741

Another user's Medic Syringe: http://ren128.deviantart.com/art/Medic-s-srynge-gun-80252722

That is one piece of amazing work Volpin, great job as always! I'd be down for a finished vers. if you ever decided yo make more!

Nah, it sent out in the mail to the buyer yesterday, didn't really think there's be a lot of interest in them - or at least not enough to justify the cost of all the silicone it would take to mold it. It looks smallish in the pics, but this thing is actually a little over 2 feet long. I'm hoping my client will send me a pic of him holding it, since I forgot to take one for scale reference before shipping it out...

Some of those other TF2 props were made by my friend Lee - she goes by Fev and does some really amazing work! I wanted to take some shots of the FaN next to a few of her builds, but they've all been shipped out too. Alas...

theres all look amazing. was wondering what program you used to get your rendered images of the guns

Holy hell, amazing work! Looks like you yoinked it straight out of the computer screen!

Volpin,

I have visited your awesome website multiple times(even asked for a commission).

I saw your Force-a-Nature project and instantly fell in love, with the design and everything.

I saw a Force-a-Nature prop for sale on Etsy, it needed to be put apart and panted, their asking $250 for it. I was wondering how much your Force-a-Nature build cost? And if this Etsy deal is worth it. or if i could do what you did and build it from scratch for less money.

Yours truly,
Nathaniel
