Any new pics of the Solo Elite out there yet?

One thing that always bothered me about MR's buisness practices was the way that they always put items up for sale without allowing their customers to see what they're actually getting. I myself would never buy a prop sight un-seen and as a result I have always been put off from buying props directly from MR.

I’m watching this one closely, I have one on order but unless I see actual photos of a production piece with it’s case before these are ready to ship I’m going to cancel my order and wait to pick one up.
Right now this item seems to be MR’s forgotten child, maybe the lack of sale on the item has made them less than enthusiastic about updates, who knows but it is odd that nothing is being said or shown on this one
Hell, they haven't even updated the photos of the Y-Wing with the correct base on their web site yet, still show the base that you will not receive.

I haven't liked this about MR either.
I cancelled my order for the EE partially because of this, but mostly because I'm certain it could be picked up for much less after it's released. There obviously isn't much of a demand for it....

The few comparison pics showed me that the added details (That were shown) and the MUCH better crafted Mauser base gun compared to the Denix used will be an improvement over the original LE that I have. I like my LE but may sell it to fund the EE. I do wish they could do the more than just the trigger/hammer moving and still have the sliding bolt like the Denix, but maybe it's something that can be modified to work once they reach the hands of RPFers.
Oh, and I'm not fond of the long wait after ordering either, but I figure with my luck, if I waited to see if I could get one cheaper later, they'd suddenly get snapped up as soon as I tried to get one.

Alot of people hate the lack of pics before ordering with MR - but enough of us seem to put our trust in them and order anyway. To be fair they have always pulled through for me - although some people were disapointed recently when they got the QGJ LE.
On pics of the Han EE - I find it very interesting that there was not one in evidence at Comic Con - surely that was the perfect opportunity to show it off and attract more CS members, and clear out the remaining stock.... I guess they just didn't have a good enough sample available - which is worrying as they had everything else including the Falcon, Boba Blaster, and even the ROTJ Vader that isn't even up for sale yet.

The pommel end does not appear to be quite accurate to the one that is given a few big close up shots in the duel of the fates, and also the one pictured in Chronicles. Here's a comparison (MR on the top):
This is most likely to be due to the fact that they merged the designs of a number of heroes to make the LE. Normally this wouldn't matter so much - but unfortunately the one with a different pommel design is the one that got some big hero shots in the flicks - and that has caused some to get upset about it.
I know a few people who were disappointed on receieving the LE, and said they wouldn't have bought it if they'd seen pics that had shown the pommel like that. Myself I'm very happy with the MR QGJ LE and would have bought it either way.
