Just curious if anyone has started or finished any models from the Sam Rockwell, movie "Moon".

I would love to get my hands on these:

Yes I did, thanks Dave. I enjoyed this movie, and am looking forward to the sequel(s) as well.

I wish a model line was done. The moon tumbler and some of the other models used were pretty cool:cool

That second image is not the best example of the models in that show.

You've got that right, alas... sadly the only images I could find. There was definitely more from the movie that I would love to aquire as well.

I LOVED the models in this movie!!! I've been thinking the same thing about the rovers. There's a ton of reference I've found on the net - looking at sites from guys who worked on the movie. It's like a Big Trak almost. I've always thought it'd be cool to take a Big Trak and make a movie quality model with it. And their motion is programmable.

The Prop Store of London sold one of the rover models, a jammer model, and part of the base model.

Thanks for the advert. JHY.

I had excellent research to create the master and it was still a challenge. It took the better part of two days just for the tire master!:sick The model is completely hand mastered, no grown parts.

Here's a link to my site to see the master and the kit;

I am finishing the cockpit interior as I type and will offer that as a separate purchase for those who don't want to take it that far. The dash board will be clear cast to facilitate lighting and will come with various dial decals. You can reserve one with a $10.00 USD deposit. I already have a couple reserved.

Please read the J.Y. post for info or PM me. There was a thread in the Gen. Modeling section to read more.

Regards,

Scott
