Any makers of a glove with touch sensors to trigger mp3 sounds?

I have voice systems for my stormtrooper and sandtrooper costumes, and had a vortex 2 for my Darth vader costume, but honestly no voice changer can make you actually sound like James Earl Jones unless you are a great mimic.

That being said I was thinking of using a MP3 player with a remote trigger that would somehow fire off certain phrases from the movie kind of like a sound board.

it would be great if it could be on a glove that I could use my thumb to trigger in an unnassuming way as opposed to a button box on the belt or something.

ANyone do this before or no someone who makes them?

I am not an electronics whiz by any means so it would have to be fairly plug and play.

Have a look at this really cheap sound board with 5 buttons:

thanks for that, if I can figure out how to wire it to an AKER and extend the leads that could work great.

I suppose I could always put it in a small project box on the side of the belt for the buttons, but would really need to have a quality speaker hooked up to it, but for that cheap you have some play room.

Thanks again!

Hi:

Sorry to hear you don't like the Vortex 2 setup....I'm building an ANH Vader costume so I'm looking into sound options as well. You should be able to connect the BigDawg's speaker output to the ACKER through the mp3 input. Another possiblility is to use a sound card (from an inexpensive talking Vader helmet) with pre-recorded Vader sayings. The stormtrooper sound systems come with a glove switch don't they?- you could use it to trigger the sounds.

Good luck with the build- I would be interested to see how it progresses.
