Just caught the Last Mimzy movie last night withthe movie rental. Big hit with my kids, so have to ask, if anyone here has done any props from the movie.

I know Tonner has made the rabbit in plush in limited editions, they are going on eBay for quite abit of money right now. Walmart also came out with a DVD edition with the stuffed bunny, althoughit is 8 inches in length while the movie one was 14 inches.

I haven't seen it yet, but I looked at a book on it and thought there would be quite a few paper props that would be fun to make.

I was able to find a mini mimzy through Wal-Mart, and it looks like I will be shopping through the net for my daughter this week to find a full sized one.

Anyone have the DVD to do a few caps of the different pieces from the box? I rented the movie for my niece and nephew and they loved it but for some reason I couldn't get the DVD to play on my PC or laptop.

Of course my niece loved the bunny but my nephew liked the "generator" and the green crystal or circuit.l

Any caps of those two would be great. Thanks.

I'd be interested in anything that becomes available. As it turns out, I read the short story the movie was based on just a few months before the film premiered. It was an odd coincidence as the short story was written in the 40's. Really enjoyed the film.

I would love to get a green crystal as well. I did find you can get the bunny through Tonner Direct a week or so ago. There are two types, a limited edition same material as the movie and another made of regular material and the logo just slightly smaller on the belly. The limited edition is sold out completely everywhere now. Most have not shipped yet and are expected to get out some time in September.
Just to note, the ones you see on ebay are not the limited edition ones, at least not in the pictures posted. The limited pieces have a larger belly logo, as well the bunny seems to have a curve on the mouth mimicking more of a smile. The material is also a bit courser with the limited edition pieces. The regular edition sold at $ 24.95 and the limited at $ 49.95. So if you want one of the regular edition, Tonner Direct is definately the way to go rather than spending 4 to 6 times as much on eBay.

Saw the film over the weekend and loved it. Great fun. You could probably take a generic rabbit and customize it to replicate the face and the big ear stitches, etc.

I only saw parts of it while work but it seemed like a really good movie. I'd like to get a hold of some of some replicas too.

I remember bidding on a couple peices from the box on ebay awhile ago, but I havent seen anymore there since, I wish I would have won the auctions, then i'd have something to show

just saw the movie. I looked on ebay and there looks to be two versions of the 14" full size--a standard one and one that "talks" when you press its foot.

Any new info on this?

Just watched this myself for the first time and want the bunny. :D

Not sure if I want to fork over $130 for the talking one or order the other from Tonner.

I’m looking for Mimzy as well. I tried to find a pattern but no luck. I recently noticed that my old bunny has similar body shape as Mimzy. But it’s 30 inches which is about twice the size of Mimzy. I will try to figure it out and edit it. Hopefully get it done this year. Wish me a luck. Lol.
