Any info on Daft Punk backpack devices?

Found this vid while browsing through youtube, any info regarding their backpack devices? It shows Guy's at 0:15

I've done the search and found only helmets, just wondering of anybody has tackled these yet.

I think the reason you might not find anyone making them is because the DP helmet makers on the RPF have managed to get the helmets to have lights fitted and working without the need for a bulky backpack (which was where they hid the power source), and the less bulk the better with any costume really.....

Yes that one, seems like it'd easy to make a hollow version out of a lightweight material. Only if there were better views of them though
