I was under the impression that SDS won't ship anything to the USA, though. Doesn't show up as an option at checkout, and they never responded to an email I sent asking if they could ship me one of their torso busts (I know they're unable to ship their Star Wars replicas, at least.)

It's transparent. However the connecting area to the helmet is on the thin side.

I'll be interested to see if someone does it.

Those 'mic tips' for lack of a better work are attached to the helmet by 1/4"-3/8" extension off of the front of the helmet.They actually are about 3/8" off of the helmet.

Ah, ok, that does sound familiar, though what's on the site currently seems to be different. I agree about most of the SDS stuff, lots of $ for disproven claims, but I haven't been able to find a mannequin/stand/bust quite like the SDS one anywhere else... I have a TIE ensemble coming from RS on Monday and don't have any good display options yet..

I finally found a Japanese retailer with some anovos items... AT-AT standalone helmet, $1,100. Tie standalone helmet, $800. Crazy
