ANOVOS Darth Vader

The reason why it is closed is because we are awaiting the arrival of a fresh new set of helmets to make the complete set. The good news is, we have lots and lots of inventory on everything else, so when the new batch of helmets gets here just be ready.

Thank you for all your help & info GotMaul.
New PM sent :)

I have a feeling getting this thing on the thing is going to be a two person job, so i'll wait for my help to arrive friday to see if i can finish it all.

Ordered the "Darth Vader's Life-Systems Controls" as a replacement/upgrade to my current set. Should be here early next week. Love the "parting out" option!

That leather suit looks exactly like my Custom Props (Also Fenix Props) leather suit from Argentina that I bought back in 2005. I wonder if Anovos sub-contracted to them for the leather parts. If so I love mine and the quality is really great.

About a half hour of fiddling with it before i head home.
we got the annoying suit part done at least, even if it isn't right yet.

maybe we can finish it monday. Part of the problem is darth is taller than the mana q ;o)

Maybe get one of those foam "Muscle Suits" and throw it on there. Cut the legs, put in spacers and voila, Vader! :)

Hahaha... Great pic!

For my old Vader, I had a 6'2 mannequin that was fairly built, and I still had to SERIOUSLY pad him up with foam and duct tape to get the overall body proportions looking even close. Didn't look too bad, even if he was still 5" too short... :)

The suit looks great though. I'm definitely impressed.

Yeah a new mannequin is needed for sure! Also, make sure it's anchored properly to the base! You don't want an accident!

If you have some extra money...I would try Tom Spina. We had him do a few of our prowse size mannequins and the effect is monstrously amazing. No mannequin is built like a prowse mannequin.

No, we did not.

Hey, Maul, did you get my PM about the Vader helmet? Don't need it for Halloween, just checking... thanks.

Update: got your reply -- thanks again for the update, Maul.

FWIW, i contacted the TK products guys and they said they are working on a prowse sized mannequin, but they're 'a few months' from offerring it.

unfortunately, I don't have the money to get another one.

b=y the time the TK guys get there's ready, I should hopefully have my Trooper armor ready by then and ready to make the switch.

I tried to dremel away the remaining excess and it takes a LONG time to do if you're trying to be careful for just one piece..
