Another Trek related scratch build! like I don't have a 1,000,000 things to finish!!

Has anyone here ever built an Original series Trek WNMHGB Phaser rifle? I have yet to find any plans or blueprints for this.....anyone know wher I can find some info?? other than trek core for screen caps! :confused
Here are a few progress pix from the last two days!

Looks a little trek movie style at the start! :love

Here is the start of the handle....

And after some cutting and sanding

A shot of primer and the handle setting in place

and a start on the head of the rifle.

and then ended the night with this!!:wacko

I found some tubing I think will work for me! not exactly accurate but I think it will be ok! I am using wooden dowels inside to make them ridgid!........keep in mind this is far from completed, I just roughed it together real quick so you could get the feel and the Idea! ; ) also started the front emitter piece and the antenna!

here we go! ..............today I attached the head to the body and gave her a couple coats of bondo / glazing putty / primer.....so far so good!
: ) still needs some touch up putty!

Well, after building one of the Rodenberry kits, I can tell you that the work you're doing is very spot on. Also, the kit that I built is very heavy and extremely awkward to hold. Yours looks like it will be much lighter.
