When I built the last large model, it was actually 3'4" long for about 1/700 scale. I mainly used many kit parts but I had hardly keep the sense of scale of each section evenly. So, I decided to build this model with less kit parts and make the necessary parts by scratch.

However, still the method of kit bashing has many good point such as generating unexpected interesting effects by putting the several different parts together.

After I thought in various ways, I came up with that idea of randomly scored plates.

Although my wife says 'Size is not the issue', I still love the large if it's possible. :behave

I continue to work on the part of yesterday.

Work on left side and right side at the same time.

And to the triangle space.
Put some kit parts and scratch the additional parts to fit there.

They go here,

I put some extra thin strips of sheet plastic on each edges.
I thought it might make a sense of scale.
