Another Red Skull

The mold is done and I pulled a quick, one layer rubber mask of the front part only. It turned out far better than I anticipated! It is pretty tough despite its thinness. Time to paint and take a better picture, sorry for the graininess.

Very good! I always envy those who are able to realize even the stamp, because if I had known, I would now my alien reproducible and more accurate because I modeled better with wax or polymer clay, clay etc.. this would be very useful if you break a part of the subject. But I also believe that making molds would cost me a lot of money. Sooner or later I will learn to make molds. maybe I could learn for little things, such as, for nails, which are all the same and there are twenty ;)

Thanks! I have seen you alien and I know you are talented enough to make a mould. This is my first Ultracal 30 mould I have ever made, and it wasn't all that difficult - but it was time consuming and at times a pain in the ass at times, but very rewarding. I learned it from what I have seen on this sight and a few videos on Stan Winston's website. By the way, Ultracal 30 is dirt cheap compared to moulding with some of those silicones.

Thank you very much for the information ;)

I think this is pretty much a wrap. I painted the mask with some latex paints mixed with the coloured latex, so it stretches nicely. I put a thin dry brush of latex gloss on top of that to take the matt finish away.

That looks great! You should have a good time wearing that with all the Captain America's running around.
