Another Jack Sparrow Compass.

Here is one I built from a kit from Yordeem Creations. I modified the insides a bit (his had a one-piece resin compass dial thingy) -- I dithced that and made mine from brass L-beams and a brass washer. It's not 100% accurate, but it worked for costume use.

Thanks. I also modified the toy -- pics on another thread, if thread is still around. The toy is actually closer in size to the actual prop -- or at least to the MR...but I didn't make my toy as solid, so it wouldn't hold up to costume use. The Yordeem one is mainly wood and I built the inside components a bit sturdier so they could withstand being banged around onn belt a bit more.
