Another e-bay scammer?

I was just checking out ebay and wanted to bring this to everyones attention. I noticed a large number of suspicious props being posted by a seller based in California: b2b auctions

I noticed, that a lot of the items bore an uncanny resemblance to many of the props/images that were posted here for free.

eg: -Vigo the Carpathian and ghostbusters paintings
-BTTF plutionum case labels, Sports Almanac cover,
-BTTF 1885 Doc & Marty photo + many others
-The Shining ballroom photo
-The Watchmen prop photo

Could this person be another scammer selling the props posted for free here? or a legitimate prop creator selling there wares?

Just curious

that is no longer an ebay member.

Dang he is making a killing on those ST sketches. Sold 5 sets at 40.00 a pop. I like those , where they available somewhere here too..lol

and since when did super soakers become RARE...i pass them up daily at thrift stores..lol

real classy.

he puts a big "SAMPLE" watermark on them.

cos, you know, wouldn't it suck if someone stole your images and made money off them...

Just wanted to bump this.

I was doing some searching on e-bay and found b2b auctions" still offering the props I listed above. I guess he's making to much money to stop swiping free props and selling them as his own.

New items on his ebay site.

The Big Lebowski - Dude's "Ralphs club" card
Pulp Fiction - Butch fight poster
Watchmen - Ozymandius charity poster
BTTF - license plate, doc & Marty clock photo, plutonium case stickers + a lot more

what kills me is the guy is selling tons of them..10 sold , 9 sold...and some of the auctions the images are only 6 " by 10" ..man he is making bank on them..no wonder so many sell them on ebay

Sad how people spend so much on something that is very inexpensive to make yourself and they'll prolly never know.

Half the fun of owning a replica prop is making it yourself!

So...to be clear as I am new here...

These thief's are taking work that others have created and are selling them on eBay...work that the gracious and talented folks here are giving us for free...

I am pretty sure there is a special area in a very hot place for people like that.

I just wanted to chime in here, back in the early 2000's before there any BTTF props on eBay I was one of the first people to photoshop, print and sell these.
I eventually put them on my BTTFSTUFF.COM - Your source on the web for BTTF PROPS! website for free download.
Almost everything you see on eBay came from my website in one form or another.
I can spot the little tells and marks I left here and there.
Just sayin....

Possible Paper Prop Recaster

So I was on ebay tonight doing a general search for prop replicas, and came across some Haunted Mansion items from a seller, at first I thought it might be a resin casting but then found out it was just a paper photograph. So not sure if this guy is using other's photos of paper props here but people might still want to take a look.

That Iron Man poster replica looks a lot like the one we have here at the forums. Can't be sure though.

Re: Possible Paper Prop Recaster

That and a lot of the rest of the stuff they have looks like stuff from the free paper props area.
