ANH Tusken material?

Hey John,
Best fabric I've seen was a ralph lauren blanket. Same weave, but not fat enough ribs.

Right on. I think I have that blanket somewhere but this just looked pretty cool. Cheaper I guess too.

If you get a chance, PM a measurement for point to point on the Vader dome (outside of point to outside of point). I will try for one here in a bit.

Isn't the ralph lauren estate blanket a herringbone pattern??? Here is another fabric on the same website that reminds me of that one:

The blanket I have is, yes, a herringbone of sorts. But I have always had a hard time finding a good courdoroy for that "other" Tusken. It always depends what movie, which Tusken, etc.

I'm still getting into Mr. Tusken as I currently don't have a trooper, am too small for a perfect Vader, and want a costume that is comfortable to hang out in.

It will come together soon I hope.

so which one of these is the more accurate? Any consensus? I need some material for mine, i also need a place to get the reddish leather parts too

here is a HD screenshot of the two tuskens hunting for luke and c-3po...

I used a worn out set of natty tan drapes that seemed to have a really good weave to them. Didn't cost me a dime. Surplus tents have alot of worn, spotty goodness, if you can find the right color. Try thrift stores and keep your eye out at all times... good fabric appears when you least expect it.
