Andor Season 2: Kleya's Blaster - Help!

I loved the show and loved Kleya and Luthen in particular. I was hoping to make a replica of Kleya's blaster but cannot tell if it is 100% scratch built or based on a real weapon or replica. All the other blasters in the show are based on toys or replicas with greeblies attached so I hope it is based on something.

I have seen people suggest it is the chiappa rhino but I really don't think that is correct.

If anyone has better photos, thoughts, or anything else I would appreciate it!

Classic RPF blunder. I somehow missed the discussion in the Andor Blaster thread where it was confirmed to be a completely scratch built piece which is disappointing. Here are some photos found from that thread too. May use this as just a consolidated image thread

If someone with a denix Mauser could post the dimensions for the grip I can use that and the foam cutout in the blaster drawer picture to start getting the scale. Unless someone else knows that trig and is willing to do it lol

It's interesting that it was scratch built. Just looking at the photo, I would have guessed it was based on some kind of revolver frame or derringer derivitive. Best of luck!

I agree. Also that it is the only one (that I know of) from the show that is scratch built. I am still open to the possibility that it was using something else as the source was a prop manager not the maker. If it wasn't scratch made I imagine the bobbed hammer would be from the original gun or toy it's based on and while I can find some things close that hammer isn't ever right.

I am not familiar with guns or blasters/blaster parts but I have taken a big interest in Kleya's blaster and would like to recreate it or have it custom made by someone else. I took these Images from Season 2 Episode 10 in 4K resolution. the grip seems to have silver sections down the middle. I hope this helps!

This would be a very simple build out of a 38 special revolver frame.
