Ancient Elder Bio ---In Progress

well i missed this thread. Looking real good so far. i like the organic textures you have going. with all the smooth lines, the only thing that bugs me is the 2 sharp downward points on his forehead. just curious, what's your intention with those?

i don't know which part your talking about,.,...you mean the addons to his eyebrows or the stuff on his crown ??>....
going for layers of built up plates kinda,......still not 100 % on the layout but,.....thought about molding as is,....then ( most of the time i can get the sculpt out unscathed ) re-working the sculpt to something different and molding again ,.....kinda like a case mold ,....sorta

And by the way Baby i love your Ancient Elder ,his forehead is awesome it almost looks 3D when you look at it in other views ....cool work...it looks like i am learning from the best...Thank You for your guidance ...LOVE YOU XOXO

Now see this is awesome having a couple motivating each other and supporting to get these things done very awesome of the both of you and I'm loving the badblood feel of your bio. Not sure if that is what you were going for, but love none the less. (y)

thank god she loves it as much as me hahaha yea we have fun sculpting together even though it's getting colder out here in the sunroom ,..

and yea thanks about the bio ,...it just sorta came out how it did,....didn't draw it out so i just fiddled with it until it looked right to me,..

thanks

sorry so late to reply back. the two downward points i was talking about are on the dome towards the front. you have what kinda looks like plateing for the dome, and the first one has two points that dip down towards the eyebrows. kinda like the bottom of a star. that's what i was talking about.

man i really like the texture you got going on there.

also about the cold. get yourself a nice little space heater. every time my wife and i walk into costco we have to stop and get warm by the disk heater they always have up front. someday i will buy it. :)

haha yea actually it hepls keep the clay moist longer ,....we use wed clay and have probably 8 different sculpts back there so ,...if i don't have to water every day that's FINE with me,......
didn't notice the star slopes in the forehead but NOW i do ,...hahaha,....i'll probably make them angle different to lose that reverse star look ,..
thanks for looking !!

The two front teeth are in different places between the last two photos...which way are you planning to go with them. Looks really kewl. Either way, the teeth set it off. Nice work...

Steve
