Amazing Spider Man 2 screen print costume attempt...

I still think there is a 50% chance it could be latex. I'm not saying it's not screen printed since it could be and very possible it might, but after doing a few suits with latex webbing it looks a lot like it. Just the thickness of it and the texture of it, and after looking up some close ups on the suit like the fingers some of the webbing is off the outline. And after they finished the sewing work on the suit i'm pretty sure it's easy covering the seam lines with latex like a 1 2 3 and done.

eagerly awaiting the next update, this project looks great and the fact im just across the city from him makes me more excited knowing this awesome is not so far away.

I found on a website that its actually 3d Printed on straight on the fabric.. Got to find the link back tho...

Hey man I just found this.

Well, computers – it’s quite amazing, because in the original Spider-Man movies with Tobey Maguire, the suit’s webbing would have been hand cut, but this was done on a 3D model on the computer to lay out a very precise pattern. And then using that computer information, you screen-print on fabric. So there are lots of different avenues to get very much more of a high tech kind of process.

Aaron.

That's not saying that anything was 3D printed. It means that they used a body scan of Toby Maguire to design the suit and then used the 3D software to pelt it. Pelting is where you take a 3d form and cut it up so that it lays flat and can be seen back together. This is a common way to create the patterns for high-end body costumes.
