The blue and red bricks were printed, not the webs. I just don't think it's possible with how screen-printing is done to get that kind of thickness, unless you're screen printing many many layers.
Something that nobody seems to be taking advantage of with Lunaman's photos is how obvious the seam lines are. The mask looks like it's very similar to McLean's shapes, and the shoulders are way different from the other patterns out there. And obviously, all the red and blue pieces are separate and then sewn together.
