alternative to fibreglass and resin

Hi

I am wondering if their is any safe alternative to fibreglass mat,cloth and resin to harden and waterproof pepakura armour. i have heard of pva glue and worbla but wonder if their are any other alternatives. many thanks in advance. I have heard of titanbond and baby wipes and textile hardener but wondered if these would work

Check out smooth ons line of products, they have a rad product called Epoxamite, that might be what youre looking for.

i heard of the baby wipes and titebond is that any good or textile hardener. cant really afford the epoxamite and the bondo is toxic still i been told

I recently read an article on MMCC forums about using blue shop towels and resin to line a bucket.

I've been doing pepakura armor builds for years now.. the best alternative is to save up and buy the resins from smooth on or other companies. Over time, the baby wipes+titebond chips off and peels like old paint, and textils hardner chips off as well. I've had my best results with simple fiberglass and fiberglass mat from Lowe's/Home Depot. Just make sure to have a proper face mask and good ventilation.
